The Invention Of Hugo Cabret Becomes Scorsese’s Hugo

July 17, 2011

Brian Selznick’s book, The Invention Of Hugo Cabret, is getting beautifully and imaginatively interpreted on film by Martin Scorsese with the title shortened to just Hugo. If you’re over Harry Potter, or just about to be, news of this film could brighten your day as it’s looking like a sure-fire family hit. Brilliant casting  includes Jude Law, Sasha Baron Cohen and Ben Kingsley with Asa Butterfield and Chloe Moretz taking on the children’s roles.. The trailer has just been released; the 3-D film will be out for Thanksgiving. Take a look-see and tell us if that doesn’t make you want to run and read the book right now. Me first!
