He’ll tell you everything you need to know to raise your own small flock of egg-laying, insect-eating, fertilizer-providing pets. He’ll talk about different breeds, housing, feeding and more. Opera At The Library Presents: Porgy & Bess
Saturday, August 29th, 2 p.m.
A filmed version of Gershwin’s American classic, directed by Trevor Nunn and starring Willard White and Cynthia Haymon in a gorgeous production from Glyndebourne with the Royal Philharmonic. Enjoy this tuneful favorite, featuring songs like “Summertime”, “I Got Plenty Of Nuthin'”, “It Ain’t Necessarily So” and many more. The perfect August opera.
