Twenty By Jenny

Jenny Brown has been in children’s books for more than twenty years. She has been an elementary schoolteacher, a children’s book editor at HarperCollins and Pleasant Company, and was children’s reviews editor at Publishers Weekly for ten years. Jenny currently writes for School Library Journal and Kirkus Reviews, and is children’s editor of Shelf Awareness. This spring she launched a website, TwentybyJenny, to help guide parents to twenty classic books in each of four age ranges: 0-3, 4-7, 8-12 and teen. She also began a blog with book-related posts all of which reminds us how important it is to read to children and for children to read.
