Exploring Shakespeare Book Club With Jenny Tripp Returns!

December 5, 2008

Most of us have a literary to-do list that includes “read more Shakespeare.” Despite his being arguably the most importantwriter ever, sitting down to read a play all by oneself can seem like facing a plate of broccoli. You know it’s good for you,but it’s awfully hard to dig in. Our Shakespeare reading group will help you make good on your lofty intentions – and have fun doing it, too. Starting Wednesday, January 7th, and running monthly after that (2/11, 3/11, and 4/8) Jenny Tripp will moderate as we read a series of four plays beginning with Macbeth. Copies of the plays, as well as recorded audio performances, will be available at the Library later in December. We’ll read, explore, discuss, and enrich ourselves — and no broccoli!  Call Jenny Tripp at 767-1560 to reserve your place.
