2007’s Best Business Book

The Financial Times and Goldman Sachs prize – worth £30,000 to the winner (US$60,000), and the other five shortlisted authors will each receive £5,000 ($10,000) – aims to identify the book that provides ”the most compelling and enjoyable insight into modern business issues, including management, finance and economics”. The 2007 winner is William D. Cohan’s The Last Tycoons: the secret history of Lazard Freres & Co.
