Stephenie Meyer’s Young Adult Vampire Series Grows

August 7, 2007

Perhaps riding on the wave, if not the coattails, of Harry Potter, young adult patrons are eagerly reading Stephenie Meyer’s vampire series. The third book in the series, Eclipse, released today, has a one million copy printing–the largest first-printing of a Young Adult title in publisher Little, Brown’s history. The first two books in the series, Twilight and New Moon are available through LION in print and Book On CD. The 4th book in the series, Breaking Dawn will be released in the fall of 2008. Connecticut-born Meyer also has an adult sci-fi book due out in the spring of 2008–The Host is the first title in the expected trilogy.
